Today I am shutting down auto posting to my Tumblr and Wordpress account. After almost one year of outoposting to multiplensites I haven found that this is no longer necessary. One of the reasons is thatbi like where Posterous is headed, I also like that I am not tied in into Posterous. So if I ever had to pack up and leave then I will not have any problems taking my data with me. So for those we are following me via Worpress or thumbler I ask you to please redirect your bookmarks or RSS feed To my personal site www.pcorajr.com or www.techcoholic.com. I still will auto post to my facebook, Twitter, and Google Buzz account so those are good ways of keeping track of what I am up to.

First things first, lets make one thing clear, I hate AT&T. Their service is crap @ my house, and it is overpriced beyond belief. With that said when I see a post like this one, I sometimes understand why some people have come to despise bloggers.

This article talks about how AT&T is supposedly ripping you off by charging data usage via microcell against your monthly cap. But wait… If you have a microcell at home chances are you are within range of you home wireless network correct? So can somebody explain to me why would you use the microcell for data when you can just use your Wifi? I guess Mr. Blogger did not do his research.

At all things D, Steve Jobs said that he doesn’t want to “see us descend into a nation of bloggers”. Needless to say, I agree with him. There is something to be said about bloggers now days. No all of them lack common sense but most of the times blogger find themselves appeasing their following. It is that instant feedback you get in a blog what can end up getting you in trouble. This is why editorialization  is needed.

One last thing I want to make clear is that in no way shape or form am I trying to apologize for AT&T shortcomings, but we must realize that jumping into the AT&T bashing bandwagon is not the way to fix this problem.
